Chance to have say your on new Norwich recycling centre – Horsford

Event Date: 07/11/19

Thursday 7 November 2-7.30pm, The Pavilion, Norfolk Cricket Club, Manor Park, Holt Rd, Horsford, Norwich NR10 3AQ

Norwich’s new recycling centre is moving a step closer this week as people are being urged to give their views on plans for the brand-new site that is set to see the opening of Norfolk’s largest reuse shop.

The plans released today also include plenty of parking, a one-way traffic system, and easy access bins with no steps.

A site near Norwich airport, off the A140/Broadland Northway junction, has been earmarked for the brand-new recycling centre. Work has been underway over the past year to secure a new site for the city as the contract on the current site at Mile Cross expires in 2021.

The 4-week consultation opens on Monday 4 November and closes on 2 December.

Details of the plans and online survey can be found at www.norfolk.gov.uk/wasteprojects

An alternative drop-in public consultation event, where you can see the plans and talk to officers for more information before giving your view is to be held on:
• Monday 11 November 11am-1pm The Forum, Millennium Plain, Norwich, Norfolk, NR2 1TF
