Broadland & Norwich Electrical & Electronic Recycling Event

Looking to dispose of your small unwanted electrical or electronic items?

Drop off your old electrical items for free at Broadland District Council’s car park ( 1 Yarmouth Road, Norwich, NR7 0DU – get directions) on Saturday 1 April from 8.30am to 12.30pm.

All items collected on the day will be taken away to be recycled or reused. Any item which is suitable for reuse will be donated to the British Heart Foundation to be sold in their shops and broken items will be stripped of their parts for recycling.

You can bring along most small household items any small appliance which uses a plug or a battery, including:

  • computers
  • games consoles
  • music systems
  • vacuum cleaners
  • small kitchen appliances
  • hairdryers
  • telephones

We can only accept flat screen TVs and computer monitors.

Unfortunately we cannot accept large items that cannot be easily lifted such as fridges, freezers, washing machines, commercial or industrial items and also fluorescent tubes.

This recycling event is being held in partnership with Broadland District Council, Norwich City Council and the British Heart Foundation.
