Event Date: 08/04/19

Monday 8 April 2019, 10:00am – 14:00pm  Nelson’s Place, Dereham.

Take pride in your local community and become a #TrashTribe volunteer this Easter, as Pure Clean Earth and Breckland Council tackle plastics in our environment and litter in our market town high streets.

Each Breckland market town will host a family friendly #TrashTribe event from 8th – 12th April, ideal for all ages to join in with the fun and make new #TrashTribe friends!  Not only can you help with a special Easter #TrashTribe litter pick and understand how you can reduce your environmental footprint, but children under 14 are invited to drop by and create their own #TrashTribe posters, which will be part of a Breckland wide competition, with the winner having their work displayed in future campaigns across Breckland and also win a prize worth £50!

Each event starts at 10 a.m. with a #TrashTribe Clean Up which runs until 11.30, with everyone invited to pop along to the Pure Clean Earth awareness tent from 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. to find out more about helping to improve their local environment and to enter the drawing competition!

All waste collected on the day will be taken away at the end of the event by Breckland Council. Remember all ages are welcome, but young children must be accompanied by an adult.

Do you want to take part? You simply drop in on the day or register attendance by emailing The first 20 people per town who officially register will receive a free Pure Clean Earth t-shirt!
