Litter Pick – River Wensum with Pub & Paddle

Join in a community litter-picking event on River Wensum in Norwich on behalf of the Norwich Green Party. This is a community-building, city-cleaning, summer-farewell event open to everyone.
Event Start: Sunday 28 September 2025 at 10am
Start points (choose either):
Pub & Paddle
The Canoe Man
(Both businesses are generously supporting with around 8 canoes so volunteers can help clean directly on the River Wensum)
How you can take part:
On the river – canoe litter-picking (limited spaces)
Along the riverbanks – litter-picking on either river bank, in either direction
All equipment is provided:
Litter-Picking Kits for Adults
Litter-Picking Kits for Children
Gloves & Bin Bags
What you need to bring:
Yourself (your friends, family, neighbours — possibly a goldfish, if it really needs a walk — etc) comfy clothes and lots of enthusiasm!
If this sounds of interest, you and your networks are warmly invited to come along – no need to book, just turn up at 10am at one of the start points on the day.
