Create new clothes without the environmental impact
Fast fashion comes with a colossal carbon footprint – but recycling your old clothes can give you new outfits without the environmental impact! In this workshop, you’ll be reinventing old clothes with new fashion and textile techniques.
Felicity Brown and Caroline George are lecturers in fashion and textiles at Norwich University of the Arts, who will provide beautiful fashion fabrics and visual inspiration for you to sew and reconstruct a new fashion creation from your preloved piece.
This workshop is organised in collaboration with the University of East Anglia. Open to everyone. Come and enjoy colour, texture, shape and design!
Cost: £17, Recommended age: 12+ For more information and to book visit Norwich Science Festival.
