Public Consultation on New Norwich South Recycling Centre

From 17 February – 29 March, people will be able to take a look at plans for a brand new £1.9million recycling centre to the south of Norwich.

A new larger modern recycling centre at Harford could replace the current site at Ketteringham. This site would complement the planned new recycling centre to the north of the city which is needed to replace the current Mile Cross site in 2021. We want you to tell us what you think of our proposed site to help us refine the design before we submit a planning application in the summer 2020.

There are several ways you can respond to the consultation:

• visit www.norfolk.gov.uk/wasteprojects

• email haveyoursay@norfolk.gov.uk

• respond in person at our consultation events Monday 2 March 10.30am – 1.30pm The Forum, Millennium Plain, NR2 1BH and Thursday 12 March 4pm-8pm Tesco Superstore, Ipswich Road, NR4 6DZ

• write to Waste Management, Floor 6, Norfolk County Council, County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, NR1 2DH
