What is community composting?

Volunteers and community groups run community composting schemes.

Garden material is collected from households in the community. It is composted at a local site. Residents can then use the compost.

They are an excellent way to recycle garden waste. They can also bring community members closer together.

Norfolk County Council can help provide an income from community composting.
